We are also continuing our food voucher campaign to help people in Mozambique meet. Since the offset of the pandemic we distributed over 1000 food vouchers to people in need. With the new COVID Omicron variant rummaging through Southern Africa, the country is lined up for more lock down and economic consequences which will affect the most vulnerable. This comes at a particularly difficult moment as the country attempted to recover from major shocks, including the debt crisis, the devastating effects of recent cyclones and terrorist attacks in the North, where many of our target beneficiaries are located.
