As the war in Ukraine is pushing millions to seek shelter across Europe, we could not stay idle and do our part as an active player of the Luxembourg solidarity ecosystem. Building on our past experience in supporting sports as a means to integration together with our partners of the Progetto Colors we decided to gather over 40 young refugees and their families, who just escaped the war in Ukraine for a day of sport and fun (link to event ) at local football club FC Tricolore. Many of these kids ended up joining the team making a quick transition into their new life in Luxembourg.

We were also happy to leveraged the garage of our office in Luxembourg, which has become a collection and distribution center for used bikes, scooters and skateboards to the benefit of over children seeking asylum or refugee status in Luxembourg from a number of countries Afghanistan to Mali. Thanks to the generosity of Luxembourg residents, the hard work of our volunteers and the collaboration of LUcraine , the project has been able to gift the joy of a bike or an other wheeled vehicle to over 150 kids and counting on 3 distribution centres.

While we are very proud of this modest but tangible contribution to our young refugees, we are hopeful our hopeful our supporters would continue supporting our many causes, including the many projects in Africa, which may risk losing the deserved attention in view of competing crisis. Get involved!
